JPJ – Bayaran balik fi LKM

Sold or cancelled a vehicle? Claim back the unused motor vehicle licence (road tax) fee at a JPJ office.

  1. After a transfer of ownership on MyEG, e-Auto or the JPJ portal, hand the cancelled LKM disc and the original e-khidmat receipt to a JPJ office within 2 working days.
  2. Fill in 2 copies of Form JPJ K6. Bring your original IC and a copy, the LKM refund details printout (MySikap) and the front page of an active bank statement.
  3. Submit at the JPJ state office, branch or UTC for the area where the vehicle is registered. Supporting documents can follow within 7 working days.
  4. A refund is only paid if it comes to RM5 or more.
